Purchases, Retailers, Returns and Refunds
Just You Me is a gift discovery and recommendation website. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Just You Me does not sell, supply or fulfil the products displayed or recommended on this website.
Our role is to help visitors discover gift ideas and, where applicable, provide links to third-party retailers, sellers or other suppliers where the recommended product may be purchased.
Purchases from third-party retailers and sellers
When you click a product or retailer link on Just You Me and make a purchase from a third-party retailer or seller, the purchase is made directly with that retailer or seller.
The retailer or seller is responsible for:
- The sale and supply of the product;
- The product’s description, quality, availability and suitability;
- Processing and fulfilling your order;
- Payment and order processing;
- Delivery and shipping;
- Cancellations, returns and exchanges;
- Refunds and other remedies available under applicable consumer law; and
- Providing any applicable guarantee or warranty.
The contract for the purchase of the product is between you and the relevant retailer or seller. Just You Me is not a party to that sales contract and does not take payment for products purchased from third-party retailers or sellers.
Returns, cancellations and refunds
If you purchase a product after following a recommendation or link from Just You Me and subsequently wish to return the product, cancel your order, request a refund, report a fault or make any other complaint about the purchase, you should contact the retailer or seller from whom you purchased the product directly.
Your rights will depend on the product, the circumstances of the purchase and the applicable law. UK consumer law provides various rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or unsuitable goods and, for many online purchases, a right to cancel within a specified period. There are exceptions to some cancellation rights, including for certain personalised or made-to-order products.
The retailer or seller should provide you with information about its own returns, cancellation and refund procedures at the time of purchase.
Just You Me does not process refunds or accept returns for products purchased from third-party retailers or sellers unless we expressly state otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any legal rights that you may have as a consumer which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Product information and availability
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and relevant gift recommendations. However, product prices, descriptions, availability, delivery arrangements, promotional offers and other information may change.
Where a recommendation links to a third-party retailer or seller, you should check the information provided by that retailer or seller before completing your purchase.
The retailer or seller is responsible for the accuracy of the information relating to the product and for fulfilling the order.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on Just You Me may be affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and subsequently make a qualifying purchase from a retailer or other advertiser, Just You Me may receive a commission.
The presence of an affiliate relationship does not change the contractual relationship between you and the retailer or seller, and it does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Problems with a purchase
If you experience a problem with a product or purchase, please contact the retailer or seller directly in the first instance using the contact details provided by that retailer or seller.
If you have difficulty identifying the retailer or seller associated with a recommendation made through Just You Me, you may contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help you identify the relevant third party.
However, contacting Just You Me does not replace your right to contact the retailer or seller directly and does not transfer responsibility for the purchase to Just You Me.
