First premiering to critical acclaim in Australia, Joanna Murray-Smith’s Berlin is a taut psychological drama that blends romance and suspense within a single charged encounter.
This UK premiere, directed by Lucy Bailey, brings new intensity to Murray-Smith’s writing, exploring intimacy, identity and the haunting weight of the past. Set against the backdrop of a restless city, Berlin asks what happens when connection becomes inescapable — and whether escape is ever truly possible.
